The court date that will finalize our adoption of Jake has been set. It will be on Wednesday April 14, 2010 in Penza, Russia. This is great news. There is a little bit of paperwork that we need to finish. But we are ready.
We will travel to Russia the day after Easter and come home April 23.
Now all I have to do is convince Karin and the girls to pack light. This is possibly the hardest thing about the whole adoption. I am only slightly exaggerating when I say they like to pack four sets of clothes per day. Challenging! I know they are going to get tired of carrying all their clothes. And I am going to be the one who ends up carrying four pieces of luggage through airports, planes, cabs, and trains. Not to mention through the streets of Moscow and Penza!

YES! This is great news! Will definitely be keeping you all in my prayers. And tell the ladies to pack only what they can carry - that will make it easier on you when you have to carry their stuff anyway. :)
